Pfimi Interlaken is a non-profit organization and, as a free church, is not funded by the state. We are financed exclusively by voluntary donations. Without your loyal financial support, your commitment to working with us and your creative involvement according to your individual gifts and talents, our church wouldn’t be what it is and what it can be in the future!
We therefore thank you for every form of support.
Our projects for the current year
Projects of our church
As a church, we also have projects and investments. We want to move with the times and proclaim the message of the Bible in a contemporary and socially relevant way. We need your support so that we can effectively fulfill our mission as a church.
Our projects:
- Training costs for employees in children’s and youth work, pastoral care, music and technology, etc.
- Printing costs of the discipleship course for accompanying people in faith (more information in the office)
- Kidscamp (every spring break)
Projects on site
As a local church, we have a local mission to the population. The Bible says in the Old Testament “Seek the best for the city…” (Jer. 29.7) and this is what we want to do. However, our heart beats not only for the Bödeli, but for the entire eastern Bernese Oberland.

Projects Switzerland
We co-finance various projects within the Swiss borders that enable people to receive a solid education in various church-related areas.
Training is important to us. Jesus says in Mt 28.19-20 that we should “make disciples and teach them…”. Making disciples means training them. That is why we work in partnership with various training institutions and our donations help to ensure that participant fees remain affordable.
These are currently the following:

- Pastoral Care Network Bethel SOZO, Swiss Branch
- Youthnet – Training Association of the Swiss Pentecostal Mission
Projects abroad
As a church, we help people outside Switzerland’s borders to hear about God and experience practical help. We believe that we have been entrusted with many resources to help other people in other countries, and we want to fulfill this responsibility and take a practical approach.
Regularly on the 1st Sunday of the month, people who are involved in these projects in other countries visit us and tell us about them.
