Counseling / Pastoral care

Sometimes life demands a lot from us and we would like to talk to someone about it and seek prayer. Our counseling service is free of charge. Do not hesitate to ask for a consultation. Your request will be treated confidentially.

There are various options available to you:

James 5.14 says that if someone in the congregation is ill or has insurmountable difficulties, they should call the elders (leadership). Our elders (both men and women) are available for prayer ministry. Please get in touch with us.

Are you looking for advice or help? You are welcome to contact us or ask our competent and experienced staff at the information desk during our church service, who will be happy to help you.

Do you need practical help at certain times due to a health issue or a major challenge in your life? Then we will try to help you. Let us know what you need. We will be happy to arrange help for you where possible.

As a couple, you are currently facing a challenge or are otherwise struggling with your relationship. Don’t hesitate and get in touch early to ask for help. Your request will of course be treated confidentially and is subject to confidentiality.

SOZO PRAYER SERVICE

Why SOZO?

The Greek word SOZO appears over a hundred times in the Bible and is translated as save, heal and set free. This is what we expect and experience again and again in a SCO session. As believers, we are called to live in freedom (Gal. 5.1). Nevertheless, there are imprints, experiences or other things in our lives that do not allow us to be free. We have a desire to get to the bottom of these blockages together with the Holy Spirit, identify them, clear them away and thereby experience lasting freedom – according to our destiny!

What is SOZO?

What can you expect from a SOZO?

A team of two to three people trained in SOZO will guide you through a process of connecting with God. This enables healing and release within you, as the Holy Spirit uncovers blockages and causes and can render them harmless. This strengthens your relationship with God, which has a positive effect on your personality.

Under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, you will be invited to ask God the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit questions such as:

  • Are there lies that I believe?
  • Do I have wounds that need healing?
  • Which people still need to be forgiven?
  • Do I have unhealthy emotional attachments to certain people?
  • Am I dominated by sinful behavior?

God will answer you in his incomprehensible love and want to meet you in these areas. So you will go home richly endowed with truths from him!

Organizational matters

Organizational matters

Now a few organizational questions to help us with the planning. Normally, a Sozo is organized in such a way that all participants are of the same gender. For capacity reasons, this can sometimes cause us organizational problems. In principle, however, we make sure that at least one person is of the same gender as the Sozo recipient. Thank you for your support, a no is not a problem for us.
Question

1. a Sozo is conducted with two people (1st person leads the 2nd person accompanies). Is it OK for you if a person of the opposite sex is present as the 2nd person?

Question

2. would it be OK for you if a person of the opposite sex ran your Sozo? In this case, the second person would be of the same sex.

Question

3. would it be OK for you if a third person were there for training? This person would not be involved in Sozo. They would be in the background and learn 1:1 how Sozo works in practice?*.

Note

Note (AGB's)
