Why do we do small groups?
We believe that it is God’s wish for us to grow together in our faith. One way to do this is through genuine fellowship with other Christians. Small groups offer precisely this space – a place where we can grow together, support each other and be strengthened in our faith.
We want people to come together because of shared life situations, interests and topics that are important to them. Things that you already do in your life and that you enjoy can make up your small group! From sports groups to knitting groups, parent groups to school groups, Bible reading and creative art groups – our small groups are as diverse as we are.
Through our small groups, we can and want to reach people throughout the eastern Bernese Oberland.
Why do our small groups start twice a year?
We want to make it easy for you to be in the right group at every stage of your life. That’s why we have seasonal small groups. You can choose to stay in a group, take a break or get to know a new group.
Our spring season is from March to June and the winter season from November to January. Small group meetings can of course also take place during the summer season from July to September. The summer season can be used for contacts in the surrounding area (neighborhood meetings etc.), evangelistic outreaches or a break.
Register your small group
We believe that God uses small groups to change people’s lives. As a small group leader, you can be a part of this process.
At the end of September & end of January you can register your new small group for the next season.
After your registration, we will be happy to contact you for a personal meeting. We look forward to hearing about your idea for the small group, clarifying any questions you may have and accompanying you on your journey!
